WELCOME

Welcome to the Westboro Badminton Club (WBC) website. WBC has been a long established community club that opened its doors over 75 yrs ago. WBC is a private recreational club and is also a member of the Ottawa District Badminton Association (ODBA).

We offer a dynamic and challenging playing environment mixed with nice social activities and interactions. For the more competitive type, join WBC tournament circuit to compete in various city tournaments organized throughout the year.

There are 4 courts available, usually priority is given to doubles play. To establish who gets on and off the court we favour the "find a foursome" and the honor system, and each match plays to 21 points (21 rally point scoring system is followed). There are no wheels system or time limits of play per game or playing level color code.
